Dîner de Gala :

Pour cette édition des Journées d'Electrochimie 2024, nous vous proposons un diner de Gala en mer dans la baie de Saint-Malo.

Durant cette croisière d'une durée de 2h30, vous découvrirez la baie de Saint-Malo l'une des plus belles baies du monde !

Les paysages évoluent au gré des marées très importantes dans la baie de St-Malo (13 mètres de marnage). Départ de St-Malo aux pieds des remparts, vous longez St-Servan, la Cité d’Aleth, la Tour Solidor construite au XIVe siècle devenue Musée International des Cap-horniers, le Rocher de la Vierge de Bizeux, lieu de pèlerinage des Terre-Neuvas. Vous vous approchez de l’usine marémotrice de la Rance, centrale hydro électrique produisant de l’électricité grâce à la force des marées ; ensuite la Vicomté, la Baie du Prieuré, puis Dinard et ses élégantes Villas Anglaises classées, la Pointe du Moulinet. Cap vers le large via le chenal du port de St-Malo, l’île Harbour puis l’île de Cézembre ensuite le Fort de la Conchée, le Fort National, bien sûr les remparts et tours de St-Malo cité Corsaire vus depuis la mer, le Grand Bé où repose Chateaubriand puis le Fort du Petit Bé enfin c’est le retour en passant le Môle des Noires. 

For this edition of the 2024 Electrochemistry Days, we are offering you a Gala dinner at sea in the bay of Saint-Malo.

During this 2.5 hour cruise, you will discover the bay of Saint-Malo, one of the most beautiful bays in the world!

The landscapes evolve according to the very high tides in the bay of St-Malo (13 meters of tidal range). Departure from St-Malo at the foot of the ramparts, you pass along St-Servan, the City of Aleth, the Solidor Tower built in the 14th century which became the International Museum of Cap-horniers, the Rock of the Virgin of Bizeux, a place of pilgrimage for the Terre -Neuvas. You approach the Rance tidal power plant, a hydroelectric power station producing electricity thanks to the force of the tides; then the Vicomté, the Baie du Prieuré, then Dinard and its elegant listed English Villas, the Pointe du Moulinet. Heading out to sea via the channel of the port of St-Malo, Harbor Island then Cézembre Island then Fort de la Conchée, Fort National, of course the ramparts and towers of St-Malo Corsair city seen from the sea, the Grand Bé where Chateaubriand rests then the Fort du Petit Bé finally it is the return passing the Môle des Noires.

Cette année nous vous proposons 3 excursions différentes :

- Visite du Mont Saint-Michel. Départ en bus du Palais du Grand Large. Visite guidée de 2h sur place (village + abbaye). Retour en bus, dépôt devant le Palais du grand Large

- Visite guidée insolite de la ville de Saint-Malo par la Demeure de Corsaire

6.5€ / prs. Minimum 20 personnes

- Visite du barrage de la Rance – Usine marée motrice. Visite guidée "Le fonctionnement de l’usine marémotrice" – 1h

15€ / prs. Maximum 30 personnes

This year we are offering 3 different excursions:

- Visit to Mont Saint-Michel. Departure by bus from the Palais du Grand Large. 2-hour guided tour on site (village + abbey). Return by bus, drop off in front of the Palais du Grand Large

35€ / prs. Minimum 40 people

- Unusual guided tour of the city of Saint-Malo by the Demeure de Corsaire

6.5€ / prs. Minimum 20 people

- Visit to the Rance dam – Tide power plant. Guided tour “How the tidal power plant works” – 1 hour.
